Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 August 2026
Structured Tax and Accounting Professionals (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it. It applies to this website only, not to information you provide to us directly as a client through other channels.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect the name, email address, phone number, company name and message you enter. Email address, phone number and company are required; the other fields are optional. We only ask for what we need to respond to your enquiry — please do not send us tax file numbers, financial account details or other sensitive information through the website form.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting and content delivery providers record standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is used to serve the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.
Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect aggregate information about how the site is used — which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located, and which devices they use. This is not used to identify you personally, and we have enabled IP anonymisation.
How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries you send us.
- To provide and maintain this website.
- To protect the site against spam, abuse and automated attacks.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it, where you have accepted analytics cookies.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use enquiry form details for marketing unless you separately subscribe to our newsletter.
Who we share it with
We use the following service providers to run this website. Each handles information only as needed to provide their service.
- Mailjet — delivers enquiry form submissions to our inbox as email.
- Google Workspace — hosts the mailbox that receives your enquiry.
- Cloudflare — provides content delivery, security filtering and the “verify you are human” check on the enquiry form.
- Google Analytics — website usage analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Our web host — stores the website and its server logs.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
Overseas disclosure
Some of these providers store or process information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. By submitting the enquiry form you consent to your information being handled in this way. We take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate security and privacy practices.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. This site uses two kinds:
- Essential. Set by Cloudflare to keep the site secure and to run the bot check on the enquiry form. These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics. Set by Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. These are only set if you choose “Accept” on the cookie notice. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and the analytics script is never loaded.
Your choice is stored in your browser. To change it, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the notice will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet our record keeping obligations. Server and security logs are kept for a short period by our providers. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiry form submissions are transmitted over that encrypted connection. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Accessing and correcting your information
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last reviewed.
